MOTHER ABBESS Please read yesterday's notes regarding the blessings and put them into action.
MOTHER ABBESS (all nuns) your head piece needs to be tucked into the collar.
Nuns: you need to stay in the lobby until Maria exits at the end of her wedding dressing scene and then come into the aisles and pretty much start Gaudeamus almost right away as soon as the lights come on. You will have to time out how soon before that you can listen to your pitches. Two of you are supposed to have cell phones to play the pitched so you should be able to play them in two places in front of each of the lobby doors that you are entering. You shouldn't have to clump together in the middle and listen. Someone needs to be a lookout at one door to see when Maria exits after dressing and then you enter immediately.
Nuns: black tights? No bare leg showing.. FLAT SHOES if you can.
NAMED NUNS: please review your harmony at the end of Maria. Make sure you watch Mr. Kays
MARIA Make sure you fix the collar and button up the dress as you're singing the rest of the song. She wouldn't run around so immodestly. Try to get at least the top button done before you come out or soon.
MARIA prayer hands at the end of crossing yourself. It's the Amen.
Mr. K Maria needs to hear the intro to do re mi. Can the first measures be louder?
Frau Schmidt...help the kids with their clothes if it comes to that! That would be part of her job.
Nun with postulant. Get Mother Abbess to show you how to bless the postulant.
Mother Abbess....I wasn't clear.. say "look for it" right away, then use the music intro to cross and gather your thoughts.
You're sounding stronger every day on the song. Don't be afraid to let your vibrato come into those high notes!!!
Maria: it's Mother AB-bess. Not Ab-BESS.
Gaudeamus was right on the money! Could be a bit brighter, faster and more emphatic! And don't breathe in the middle of celebrantes.!
Mr. Kays...intro to 16/17 Reprise could be louder.Maria missed the entrance because she could hear I think.

Can some of the nuns be enlisted as dressers to help the children with quick changes?
Maybe lead Gretl off by the hand at end of concert rather than pick her up?
2nd prize winner should bow to the audience.
