Congrats/Happy Opening Night/Drama Reunion
Congrats on your first opening night! Tonight we get whole other opening night!!
Hopefully everyone checked their costumes before the left last night. I know how it is when you're that tired, but a reminder that it's really important that you leave the theatre knowing all of your costumes are accounted for.
Tomorrow is the first-ever LHS Drama Reunion, inspired by this being the last year in this building. Here's some information I shared on social meadia:
We opened last night and I've had a second to catch my breath. Regarding tomorrow's reunion, here's some info if you have not heard it yet:
Noon: Alumni will be providing musical entertainment in the foyer.
1:00 First show-- a sing-a-long matinee.
4:00 Tour-- alumni can tour the backstage for the last time and will be given the opportunity to tag their name one last time back stage. Due to scheduling problems, we will not be able to get into the new building.
4:30 Dinner with the cast-- a lasagna dinner will be prepared by our Culinary Arts class. Free-will donations will be accepted as we encourage you to join us for a "company dinner" in the cafeteria.
7:00 Evening show. Feel free to watch both casts by attending both shows. If you have not already purchased tickets, they will be available at the door. Free seat cushion rental to any alumn:)
PS: Parents are invited to join us as well!!
Please don't leave campus for dinner between the matinee and evening shows. Culinary Arts has worked hard to provide a lovely dinner for you and I know the alumi will enjoy talking with you and sharing drama stories. The backstage tour will be happening right after the show, before dinner. Please be prepared that I may knock on the shop door or dressing room door to give a heads up that there's a group who would like to see the space.
Again, congrats on a great first night! See you soon.
