#31 - Kids, make sure you sing out briskly both times you sing “The hills are alive”. There can

be a tendency to sound ‘timid’. You like to sing this song! Keep it moving.

#33 - ELSA - please keep the rhythm of notes exact in these intro bars m.1-8. If you ‘jazz ‘em’

they mess with the momentum of the piece.

#37 Sounding pretty darn good!

NUNS Gaudeamus - get pitches from low (not the highest first)

#37b - Alleluia - there is still a breakdown of the rhythm at the end of the first half (m.8, 9, 10)

Please really work the RHYTHM - you tend to become unsure and the tempo goes to heck!

Scripts!

Hi everyone! Here is a LINK to the script for The Sound of Music! We should have scripts on Tuesday, but if they don't arrive in time we'll use this form of the script for now. As we have paid for the rights to the play, we have the temporary right to use a digital copy of the script. When the scripts arrive, if the format is the same, we'll stick with these digital scripts. If someone wants a rental script so that they can write their blocking in, we'll check one out to you. In the meantime, please use this for memorization purposes. Thank you!
