Updated Audition Information!

Hi lovely people!

Here is the updated information for The Sound of Music auditions:


Vocal auditions for The Sound of Music will take place on Tuesday 2/1, Wednesday 2/2, and Friday 2/4 after school. You can choose which of the days you want to audition. 

Those auditioning need to prepare 16-32 bars of a song from a musical. You can either bring in sheet music or a device with a background track. An accompanist will be provided for you.


Mandatory movement auditions will take place on Thursday 2/3. If you are auditioning for the show, you must attend this audition day. 


Callbacks will take place the following week on the 7-8th, with the 10th and 11th TBD. Children's auditions will take place from 4:00-6:00 on Wednesday, 2/9.

Scripts!

Hi everyone! Here is a LINK to the script for The Sound of Music! We should have scripts on Tuesday, but if they don't arrive in time we'll use this form of the script for now. As we have paid for the rights to the play, we have the temporary right to use a digital copy of the script. When the scripts arrive, if the format is the same, we'll stick with these digital scripts. If someone wants a rental script so that they can write their blocking in, we'll check one out to you. In the meantime, please use this for memorization purposes. Thank you!
