Discrepancy in Act 1 Scene 10

In Act 1 Scene 10, Frau Schmidt uses the "G slur" in reference to an orchestra. Tentatively we will omit this word from our rehearsals, however if you have a suggestion for a word to take its place, please reach out to Mr. Peerenboom or stage management.

    I suggest you might use the word "Romani". If the orchestra was from Hungary, it is very possible that it comprised Romani people, as the Romani had been in Hungary since the 14th or 15th century.

    OR you could just say "Hungarian Orchestra".

Scripts!

Hi everyone! Here is a LINK to the script for The Sound of Music! We should have scripts on Tuesday, but if they don't arrive in time we'll use this form of the script for now. As we have paid for the rights to the play, we have the temporary right to use a digital copy of the script. When the scripts arrive, if the format is the same, we'll stick with these digital scripts. If someone wants a rental script so that they can write their blocking in, we'll check one out to you. In the meantime, please use this for memorization purposes. Thank you!
